Just a few of many portraits undertaken over the years, missing are a purple crayon drawing called ‘Leslie,’ and a couple’s portrait – ‘Carlen and Jay.’

Included here are portraits of ‘Sean,’ Queen Nefertiti (as requested by my grandmother) and my parents – ‘Edward & Petronilla’, a self-portrait at age 21 and a portrait of my beloved grandmother.

My favourite media were pen and ink, pencils and crayons. Various styles are at work here – a looser, harsher rendering is used for a louder, very energetic personality and softer styles for softer personalities.
