The site of Body Essentials Ayurvedic Spa located in Midtown, New York.

Featuring a plethora of products and services the site provided a navigation system to help the user. Spacing, colouring, letter size, and most importantly a minimum of distraction, also play their part in helping to orient the user.

The director of Body Essentials challenged me with the creation of a logo based on an existing ancient Hindu drawing.

I updated the drawing simplifying the line but maintaining the drawing’s intricacies. The director was very pleased with the result but was attached to the cursive script – Zapfino. Thus two logos were used and developed in branding – a horizontal logo with cursive script and silhouetted square logo.
